Perspective: Genpact Analyst and Advisor Forum

This IDC Manufacturing Insights Perspective provides some insight into the recent Genpact Analyst and Advisor Forum held June 1–2, 2015, in Boston. For those unfamiliar with Genpact, the firm is a global business process outsourcing (BPO) and technology solutions company that began as a GE company in 1997 and was spun off in 2005 as an independent firm. It was eventually listed on the NYSE as "G" in 2007. Genpact maintains its commitment to generating business impact (the source of the name Genpact) through business process optimization with an eye toward Lean Six Sigma methodologies. The event itself was a one-day session of presentations and discussions held for a small group of targeted industry analysts and trusted advisors with the objective of sharing current events and strategy at Genpact and taking the feedback and thoughts of the analysts and advisors.
