Perspective: Cisco Live 2015: Cisco's Vertical Strategy Progress

On March 17 to 19, 2015, Cisco Systems, Inc. held Cisco Live in Melbourne, Australia. Convened annually in Melbourne, the event brings together Cisco executives, engineers, customers, partners, analysts, and the press. The 2015 congress gathered around 5,500 attendees. This IDC Energy Insights Perspective shares the key discussions at the event, and particularly the implications for developing vertical strategy that Cisco has been taking to market over the last few years.

Cisco provided updates on its company performance and strategy, and developments relating to offerings across its product suite particularly focusing on Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), Intercloud, collaboration, security, and Internet of Everything (IoE).
