Fujitsu Bets on Co-Creating a Digital Future Through Connected Services

This Market Note provides key updates from the Fujitsu Forum that took place in Munich between November 6 and 8, 2018. The theme for this year's Fujitsu Forum was "co-creation for success" and was showcased with examples all through the forum. "All the important announcements, such as the new Global Matrix Organization and creation of the Global Services Delivery Unit, deepen the partnership with Microsoft and are all in sync with Fujitsu's overall shift to a more services-oriented organization," says Cathy Huang, senior research manager, IDC Asia/Pacific Services and Security Research. "Fujitsu's emphasis on human-centric and co-creation certainly adds differentiation and successfully helps with the vendor's transition," Huang continues. "As Fujitsu pivots to a services-centric strategy, it will be important for the company to flawlessly execute on its strategy of delivering breakthrough innovation and superior customer experience to differentiate itself in a competitive space that boasts well-established incumbents," according to Pushkaraksh Shanbhag, senior research manager, IDC Asia/Pacific Cloud and IT Services Research.
