How Close Is the New NTT in Realizing Its Asia Leadership Ambition?On July 1, NTT launched NTT Ltd, a London-headquartered multinational technology services provider with a staff of 40,000 across 57 countries and estimated US$11 billion revenue. This Market Note provides IDC's point of view on the recent launch of NTT Ltd, a statutory consolidation of 28 entities including NTT Communications, Dimension Data, NTT Security, and companies that have been acquired in the past, including Emerio, Training Partners, Oakton, Arkadin, and the latest one, WhiteHat Security. IDC believes this consolidation is a positive step for NTT to be the leading global technology services provider. In order to make it successful, it has to ensure existing customers of each brand that the services on offer will be the same as or better than previously experienced. At the same time, it is also important to re-assure Asia/Pacific will continue to be the major hub for the new NTT Ltd.
