This IDC study examines the results of a Web-based survey administered by IDC to CLO magazine's Business Intelligence Board (BIB) regarding a variety of topics to gauge the issues, opportunities, and attitudes of senior training executives on learning delivery. Content, audience, environment, and available technology each play a role in how learning is delivered. Enterprise learning strategies continue to evolve: what content is being taught, what audience is the target, and what available tools are becoming more reliable. This study discusses our annual look into learning modalities and how these modalities are evolving. In this survey, 163 BIB respondents shared their thoughts on the appropriate mix of learning delivery."This research suggests that mobile has quickly become an important part of CLOs' delivery portfolio and will be a growing part of the learning delivery mix." — Cushing Anderson, vice president, Corporate Learning Research at IDC
