As of January 2025, the southern viaduct project in Ecuador aims to enhance access to the Port of Guayaquil by constructing the country's longest bridge, spanning 44.2 kilometers. This infrastructure initiative includes an 855-meter bridge over Estero Cobina and a 3.44-kilometer bridge over the Guayas River, significantly improving logistical efficiency.
