Market Definition:
C-arm is an X-ray technology based imaging scanner intensifier, it is majorly used in operating rooms of hospitals and clinics. It has two arms, which is in C-shaped; connected with the X-ray source and the X-ray detector. C-arm allows doctors to move it’s C-shaped in all directions so that images of the patient can be taken from all the directions. The C-arm consists of a flat panel detector and X-ray source (generator) or an image intensifier. Prior to analog image intensifiers were used in place of modern flat panel detectors.
