The working principle of a fiber-coupled laser is to ""couple"" the laser light emitted from a semiconductor laser into an optical fiber. Generally, if it is directly irradiated, the coupling efficiency is relatively low (about 10%) because the divergence angle of the light source is relatively large. Therefore, a lens group (cylindrical lens + self-focusing lens) is generally added between the laser and the optical fiber to focus, thereby improving the coupling efficiency, or it is also possible to perform some processing on the receiving end face of the optical fiber.
