We've increased our estimate of 2025 GDP growth by 0.4ppts to 4.2% y/y to reflect stronger-than-expected Q3 GDP and the impact of the Cyclone Ditwah, which struck the country in late November. Prior to the cyclone, the Sri Lankan economy stayed on a firm footing in Q3 by expanding 5.4% y/y, the fastest rate of growth this year. The industry sector was the primary driver of activity, contributing 2.3ppts to total growth.
