Analysis by Region - Emerging Markets - Argentina
Description
We expect Argentina's GDP growth to slow to 2.3% in 2026 from 4.3% in 2025. We don't anticipate strong household consumption growth in 2026. The decline in inflation will be more gradual next year and credit growth has continued to slow significantly. The consumption rebound was largely due to two years of economic contraction and the government's exchange rate policy to control inflation.
