Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Ireland
Description
We've kept our GDP forecasts for Ireland broadly unchanged at 13.3% growth in 2025 and a 0.6% contraction in 2026, with growth resuming in 2027 at 1.9%. GDP has held up well in recent quarters, including in Q3, following strong surges around the turn of 2025. Our forecast anticipates only modest declines in the coming quarters, although this will still result in a negative carry-over effect into 2026, which largely explains next year's GDP contraction.
