Macro - Country Economic Forecasts - Germany
Description
The German economy remains stagnant and we expect the year to end with yet another flat quarter. Growth should gradually pick up next year as fiscal support increases and we expect the economy to expand by 0.7%. However, recent data reinforce our cautious near-term outlook, as core orders continue to disappoint and October’s rise in industrial production wasn't broad-based, mainly offsetting August’s decline rather than signalling a strong start to Q4.
