Description

We've raised our 2025 GDP growth forecast for Austria by 0.1ppt to 0.2%. In Q2, GDP expanded by 0.3% q/q, 0.2ppts higher than the flash estimate. The economy benefitted from net trade and investment, while consumption dragged. Data revisions to exports and a drop in imports positively influenced the GDP print. Although we expect some payback in Q3, economic activity in H1 was more benign than anticipated.
