Worldwide Threat Detection and Investigation Response Market Shares, 2022: No One Ring Will Rule the Realm
This IDC study provides the market share data for the threat detection and investigation response (TDIR) market in 2022. "In 2022 and moving into 2023, we could see all cybersecurity companies moving from point products and toward platforms, but in particular, we are seeing long-developing platform plays from large vendors coming into fruition in threat detection and investigation response," noted Chris Kissel, vice president, Security and Trust, IDC. "Security automation truncated the time between detection and response. As companies have universally adapted the MITRE Engenuity Framework for incident detections and preventions, security analytics have become more refined. The market opportunity for TDIR is massive, but we do not anticipate that any one company will ultimately rule the roost."
