Verizon Displays Security Services Capabilities at RSA Conference 2016
This IDC Flash discusses Verizon's announcements made at the RSA Conference in San Francisco, California, held February 29 to March 3, 2016. The first announcement discussed the partnership with Splunk that will help add more advanced threat detection capabilities to Verizon's Managed Security Services (MSS) platform. Verizon is leveraging this partnership to bring in more advanced analytics and help customers make better predictive decisions around security threats coming onto their network. The other announcement included the first release of a report called the Data breach digest. The report augments Verizon's annual Data Breach Investigations Report (DBIR) developed by Verizon Enterprise Solutions. Verizon also showcased at its booth the new Unified Security Services self–service solution.
