Salesforce Brings Collaboration Front and Center in Salesforce Anywhere
This IDC Market Note discusses the recent Salesforce Anywhere announcement that integrates Salesforce Quip collaborative functionality within the new Salesforce Customer 360 ecosystem. Collaboration, a force in a work-from-anywhere world, has become critical to every enterprise. Salesforce used the Quip acquisition to provide seamless collaboration. The company added the "new work" platforms: videoconferencing, collaboration, and persistent conversations around its new Customer 360 offering. The integration works but needs to expand to cover wider enterprise use cases. Still, it will make team communication more effective, more real time, and better for the customer.
