On February 22–25, 2016, the GSM Association's (GSMA) annual Mobile World Congress event took place at the Fira Gran Via in Barcelona. MWC is now firmly established as the preeminent showcase and gathering place for the global mobile industry, and it continues to attract record numbers of attendees every year.
