Asia/Pacific (Excluding Japan) Integration Software Market Forecast, 2019–2024
This IDC report presents a 2019–2024 forecast of the integration of the Asia/Pacific (excluding Japan) (APEJ) software market published in IDC's Worldwide Semiannual Software Tracker, November 2020. The forecast takes into consideration the ongoing impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and includes the most recent macroeconomic inputs from the last week of November 2020 for the region. "Organizations are expected to increase their investments in integration to support a wide range of use cases, from legacy modernization, hybrid integration (across systems, services, cloud), and API-led innovation to workflow and process automation. Integration software provides organizations the ability to modernize their legacy investments and pursue innovation while circumventing expensive lock-ins," says Chris Zhang, research manager, IDC Asia/Pacific. "We are also expecting a shift toward a public cloud consumption model in a post-COVID-19 environment as enterprises become cognizant of the need to support a hybrid workforce environment," she adds.
