US HVAC Market Forecasts by Product, Energy Source, Market and Region
Description
US HVAC Market Forecasts by Product, Energy Source, Market and Region
US demand for HVAC equipment is forecast to increase 3.9% per year through 2021. Replacement of existing equipment that has reached the end of its operational lifespan with better performing, and typically higher value, equipment will continue to support the majority of expected demand increases. Shifts in the product mix toward more expensive HVAC equipment -- such as away from room air conditioners and noncondensing cast iron boilers to unitary air conditioners and condensing steel boilers, respectively -- will provide further impetus to dollar gains.
This report analyzes HVAC equipment demand by product type, energy source, market, and region. Data are given in dollar value and units.
The HVAC equipment product types covered in the study are:
Air conditioning equipment
Heating equipment
Heat pumps
Dehumidifiers & humidifiers
Energy sources discussed in the report are:
