This report forecasts to 2029 US siding demand in square meters. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: vinyl; fiber cement; brick; stucco; wood; and other products such as concrete, metal, and exterior insulation and finish systems (EIFS). Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: new residential, residential improvement and repair, new nonresidential, and nonresidential improvement and repair.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2019 to 2024; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2019 and 2024.

Excluded from the scope of this report are ancillary products (like soffit, shutters, moulding, and trim), primary loadbearing walls, sheathing that is used as a base for siding, and separately sold insulation materials. Commercial products that allow two-way visibility, such as vision glass curtain walls and storefronts, are considered windows for purposes of this report and are also excluded.
