This wire-controlled chassis mainly consists of three subsystems: steer-by-wire, brake-by-wire, and drive-by-wire. The electronic control unit analyzes and processes these electronic signals according to preset algorithms and then sends precise instructions to the corresponding actuators to complete operations such as steering, braking, and acceleration of the vehicle. For instance, when steering is required, the steer-by-wire system converts the steering intention of the driver (in the unmanned delivery scenario, it is actually the autonomous driving system) into electronic signals, which then drive the steering motor to realize wheel steering. When braking is needed, the brake-by-wire system quickly responds to the braking signal and directly builds braking pressure through an electronic booster to ensure smooth braking of the vehicle. This wire-controlled chassis design offers advantages such as fast response speed, high control precision, and a simple structure.
