Thermodynamic steam trap is a valve that automatically opens and closes based on the dynamic changes in flow rate and pressure difference between steam and condensed water. It is controlled by the force difference between the internal disc (or valve disc) under the impact of high-speed steam flow and condensed water. Its core feature is that it does not require temperature sensing elements or floats, and only relies on the physical flow characteristics of steam/condensate water (such as flow rate and pressure fluctuations) to drive valve action. It has the advantages of compact structure and fast response speed, but requires high stability of working conditions.
