Magnetic flux leakage detection equipment is a non-destructive testing instrument based on the principle of magnetic field change. It is mainly used to detect surface or near-surface defects (such as cracks, corrosion, wear, etc.) of ferromagnetic materials (such as steel pipes, storage tanks, steel structures, etc.). Its core principle is to apply a strong magnetic field to the object being tested through a magnetizer. When there are defects in the material, the magnetic lines of force will be distorted at the defect and form a leakage magnetic field. The equipment captures the leakage magnetic field signal through a high-sensitivity sensor (such as a Hall effect sensor or a magnetoresistive sensor), and combines the data acquisition system and analysis software to achieve the location, identification and quantitative evaluation of defects. The equipment has the characteristics of non-contact, high efficiency, and automated operation. It is widely used in oil and gas pipelines, power equipment, aerospace, new energy and other fields. It is an important tool to ensure the safety of industrial structures.
