Steam cracking ethylene production unit is an industrial equipment that uses high-temperature steam and hydrocarbon raw materials (such as ethane, propane, naphtha, etc.) to produce unsaturated hydrocarbon compounds such as ethylene and propylene through cracking reactions. This process is usually carried out in a tubular heating furnace. The raw materials and water vapor enter the heating furnace tube after preheating, and cracking reactions occur at extremely high temperatures. The cracking furnace is the core component of the steam cracking ethylene production unit, where the raw materials are heated to a high temperature (usually 750~900℃) to initiate the cracking reaction. The cracking furnace usually includes a radiation section and a convection section. The radiation section provides a high-temperature environment for the raw materials to undergo cracking reactions, and the convection section is used to recover heat and preheat the raw materials. After the cracking reaction is completed, the cracking gas needs to be quickly cooled to terminate the reaction and prevent the occurrence of secondary reactions. The quenching system usually consists of a quenching boiler and a quench cooler, which can quickly reduce the temperature of the cracking gas. The steam cracking ethylene production unit has the characteristics of complex process, high energy consumption, and a wide variety of products. It is a key equipment for the production of chemical products such as ethylene, and plays an extremely important role in the production of chemical products and the development of the entire petrochemical industry.
