Global Slow Axis Collimator Market Growth 2025-2031

The global Slow Axis Collimator market size is predicted to grow from US$ million in 2025 to US$ million in 2031; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of %from 2025 to 2031.

A slow-axis collimator is an optical component used for fiber alignment to align the slow axis of the fiber (that is, the direction of slower propagation in the fiber) with the optical axis (that is, the direction of faster propagation in the fiber) allow. Slow-axis collimators are usually made of a crystal with special optical properties, such as lithium sodium niobate crystal. When the light passes through the crystal, due to the birefringence properties of the crystal, the light will be refracted differently in the direction of the slow axis and the fast axis, so that the relative displacement of the light in the direction of the slow axis and the fast axis. By adjusting the rotation angle of the crystal, the light rays in the direction of the slow axis and the fast axis can coincide, so as to achieve the purpose of collimation of the slow axis. Slow-axis collimators are widely used in the fields of optical fiber communication, laser processing and optical measurement.
