A powered stable platform is a special stabilizing device. A powered stable platform refers to a device that generates a stabilizing torque through a power device (such as a servo motor, etc.) to offset the external interference torque, so that the load platform remains relatively fixed or in a small amplitude (low frequency, small range) stable motion. This type of platform is usually used in situations where disturbances need to be isolated and the load needs to be stable. In a powered stable platform, the gyroscopic torque participates in partially canceling the interference torque during the stabilization process of the platform system. When the platform system reaches a stable state, the servo torque will take on the task of canceling all interference torques. Specifically, when the external interference torque acts on the platform, the gyroscope will sense this interference and generate a corresponding gyroscopic torque. However, the gyroscopic torque itself cannot completely offset the interference torque, so a power device (such as a servo motor) is required to generate additional stabilizing torque to jointly complete this task. As the precession angle increases, the stabilizing torque continues to increase until it is completely offset by the interference torque, keeping the platform stable.
