Portable Rockwell Hardness Tester is a portable instrument used to measure the hardness of materials. It is based on the Rockwell hardness test principle, by applying a certain pressure on the surface of the material, and then measuring the size of the indentation to determine the hardness of the material. The Rockwell hardness tester uses a diamond or hard metal ball as an indenter to calculate the hardness value by pressing the indenter into the surface of the material to form an indentation, and then measuring the diameter or depth of the indentation. Compared with the traditional desktop Rockwell hardness tester, the portable Rockwell hardness tester is lighter, smaller, and easy to carry and operate. It usually uses a digital display or pointer indicator to display the hardness value, and has convenient control buttons and operation interface. This portable device is suitable for on-site testing and places where non-portable devices cannot reach, such as industrial production sites, fields, etc.
