Polyphosphazene is an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer with a main chain consisting of alternating single and double bonds of phosphorus and nitrogen atoms and side chains substituted by organic groups. Polydichlorophosphazene (PDCP) or hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene (HCCP) molecules undergo nucleophilic substitution reactions with different types of reactive monomers to form high molecular weight straight chain, branched chain, dendritic structure and cross-linked structure. Its molecular structure contains a large amount of phosphorus and nitrogen compounds, which can decompose at high temperatures to release a large amount of harmless gases such as nitrogen and hydrogen phosphate dioxide, thereby achieving the purpose of flame retardancy.
