Photovoltaic module insulation withstand voltage tester is a device that can apply a specified AC or DC high voltage between the live part and the non-live part (such as the casing) of an electrical appliance to check the withstand voltage capacity that the electrical insulation material can withstand. Photovoltaic module insulation withstand voltage tester is mainly composed of AC (DC) high voltage power supply, timing controller, detection circuit, indication circuit and alarm circuit. Its working principle is to compare the leakage current generated by the instrument under test under the test high voltage output by the withstand voltage tester with the preset judgment current. If the detected leakage current is less than the preset value, the instrument passes the test; if the detected leakage current is greater than the judgment current, the test voltage is instantly cut off, and an audible and visual alarm is issued, thereby determining the withstand voltage strength of the tested piece.
