The synthesized material then goes through crushing/milling, de-agglomeration, precision classification (PSD control), and impurity-removal steps such as magnetic separation and chemical purification to achieve ultra-low metallic contamination. Finally, producers perform phase control (α/β adjustment), moisture/oxygen control, tight QC (XRD/PSD/ICP, etc.), and clean packaging, because PV applications are highly sensitive to trace contamination and lot-to-lot variation.
