Nickel-magnesium alloy is an intermediate alloy (binary alloy) obtained by high-temperature melting of metal nickel and metal magnesium, and the magnesium content is 15-50%. For nickel-magnesium alloys, since the melting point of nickel is 1452°C and the melting point of magnesium is 650°C, and metal magnesium also has the characteristics of high vapor pressure and no induction, the actual production is difficult, and it is easy to cause fire, smoke or even explosion during smelting. Very low, vacuum smelting is used in production, and the composition segregation is large. Generally, intermediate frequency high-temperature furnaces can also be used for production. The products currently seen are NiMg15. But the smoke and dust are relatively large.
