Magnesium aluminum spinel is a refractory material made of spinel synthesized artificially from magnesium oxide and alumina. This raw material is rarely found in nature, and all industrial magnesium aluminum spinel is artificially synthesized. Aluminum alumina based sintered magnesia alumina spinel is made by using high-quality alumina with an Al2O3 content of over 76% and high-quality lightly burned magnesium powder with an MgO content of over 95%. After multi-stage homogenization process, it is sintered at a high temperature of over 1800 ℃ in an ultra-high temperature tunnel kiln. It has good corrosion resistance, strong corrosion and peeling ability, good slag resistance, abrasion resistance, good thermal shock stability, high temperature resistance and other performance characteristics. In 2025, global Magnesia Alumina Spinel production reached approximately 287 K MT, with an average global market price of around US$ 685 per MT.
