The elevator light curtain is a light-type elevator door safety protection device, which is suitable for passenger elevators and freight elevators to protect the safety of passengers. It consists of four parts: an infrared transmitter and receiver installed on both sides of the elevator car door, a power box installed on the top of the car, and a special flexible cable. There are multiple infrared transmitting tubes in the transmitter. Under the control of the MCU, the transmitting and receiving tubes are turned on in sequence, and the car door area is continuously scanned from top to bottom to form a dense infrared protection light curtain. When any beam of light is blocked, the control system immediately outputs a door opening signal, and the car door stops closing and reverses to open. The elevator door can only be closed normally after the passengers or obstacles leave the warning area, thereby achieving the purpose of safety protection, which can avoid the occurrence of elevator pinching accidents.

After years of development, China has become the world's largest elevator producer and consumer.
