Supercapacitors are responsible for providing high power output and fast charging and discharging capabilities to meet transient demands and high power applications, while batteries are responsible for providing high energy density to meet long-term energy needs. Through intelligent control and optimization algorithms, the hybrid supercapacitor can flexibly switch between the two energy storage technologies according to demand to achieve more efficient energy storage and release.
