Global High Temperature Thermal Grease Market Growth 2026-2032
Description
The global High Temperature Thermal Grease market size is predicted to grow from US$ 747 million in 2025 to US$ 1225 million in 2032; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.7% from 2026 to 2032.
Global sales of high temperature thermal grease reached 357,374 tons in 2025, with an average price of US$2,136 per ton.
High temperature thermal grease is a type of thermal interface material (TIM) that is used to transfer heat between two surfaces that are in close proximity. High temperature thermal grease is typically made of a high-performance material, such as silicone or graphite, that has good thermal conductivity and can withstand high temperatures.
The raw material composition of high temperature thermal grease is simple: 60–70% is an organosilicon base material such as dimethyl silicone oil, providing temperature resistance and flexibility; 30–40% is high thermal conductivity inorganic fillers such as alumina, boron nitride, and silicon carbide, which determine the final thermal conductivity. The cost structure is thus divided into two parts: silicone oil prices fluctuate with the organosilicon monomer market, with a year-on-year increase of approximately 12% in 2025, accounting for more than half of the total cost; alumina and boron nitride at the filler end have low unit prices but are used in large quantities, and high thermal conductivity models require nano- or spherical powders, accounting for 30-40% of the cost, with the remainder being additives, packaging, and labor costs.
