Global Full Spectrum In Vivo Imaging System Market Growth (Status and Outlook) 2025-2031
Description
According to this study, the global Full Spectrum In Vivo Imaging System market size will reach US$ 411 million by 2031.
A Full Spectrum In Vivo Imaging System is a high sensitivity imaging device used for in vivo imaging within a specific spectral range, mainly in the fields of life science research, medical diagnosis, and biopharmaceuticals.
Technical Principles
- Light Source Excitation: It uses different light sources such as LED, laser, and X-ray. LED light sources are stable and have a long lifespan, suitable for exciting visible-light fluorescence. Laser light sources have high energy and are suitable for exciting deep-tissue fluorescence in the second-near-infrared region. X-ray sources can be used to obtain structural images of animals, distinguish different tissues, and provide information on bones, fat, and muscles.
- Spectral Imaging: It is equipped with scientific - grade cooled CCD cameras and low-temperature InGaAs cameras. The former is used for imaging in the visible-light and first-near-infrared regions, while the latter is used for imaging in the second-near-infrared region. This enables full-spectrum imaging within the wavelength range of 400 - 1700nm. In addition, some systems are equipped with filter wheels with more positions, which can load more emission filters to achieve the spectral separation function of fluorescence imaging and improve the accuracy of spectral detection.
