The typical synthesis route involves the reaction of diamine with CS₂ to form an intermediate, followed by cyclization under heating/acidic conditions to obtain ethylene thiourea.Global sales are projected to be approximately 78,000 tons in 2025, with an average market price of approximately US$4,050 per ton. The industry's gross profit margin is approximately 18-25%.
