Its core function is to convert high-frequency or pulse power signals into measurable direct current (DC) or low-frequency voltage signals. The diode detector of a diode power meter usually uses a Schottky diode or a thermistor diode. During operation, a high-frequency or pulse power signal enters the diode through a matching network. The diode rectifies the high-frequency signal into a DC or low-frequency voltage. The voltage after detection is proportional to the input power, and the power value is indirectly obtained by measuring the voltage.
