Copper-phosphorus solder is an alloy solder with copper and phosphorus as the main elements. The solder has good fluidity, low brazing temperature and self-brazing effect. When welding pure copper, it can be welded under normal atmosphere without flux. It is suitable for welding methods such as resistance brazing, flame welding and induction brazing of copper and copper alloys. Because phosphorus is easy to form brittle compounds with iron, copper-phosphorus solder is not recommended for brazing of ferrous metals.
