Constructed from cold-rolled steel, aluminum, or plastic composite, they are often finished with black powder coating and offer a panel thickness of 1.5 to 2.0 mm. These panels can be flat or angled, include silk-screened numbering or label slots for easy identification, and may have integrated grounding points. Compatible with Cat5e/Cat6/Cat6A/Cat7 and various AV modules, they typically support operating temperatures from -10°C to +60°C and meet flame retardant standards like UL 94V-0. Optional features include rear cable management bars, shielded versions, and custom colors to suit diverse network environments.
