It features water conservation, reduced wastewater discharge, reduced fertilizer and pesticide use, high yield per unit area, and high educational and exhibition value. Application areas include science education, ecological research, and technology demonstration in schools, research institutions, and ecomuseums; commercial production of high-quality agricultural products (bass, mandarin fish, leafy greens, blueberries, etc.); professional commercial farms; and home and community gardening. The upstream of the industry chain includes water pumps and valves, filters and biological fillers, sensors and control systems, greenhouse structures/insulation materials, LEDs and electrical components, and plastic/fiberglass tanks and planting troughs; the midstream consists of system integrators; and the downstream consists of operators. Gross profit margins are approximately 25-45%.
