Rubber antioxidant ZMMBI/MMBZ/ZMTI (chemical name: zinc salt of 2-mercaptomethylbenzimidazole, CAS No. 61617‑00‑3) is a non-staining, non-polluting thio-benzimidazole antioxidant, typically supplied as a white to pale-yellow powder. It delivers excellent thermal and oxidative ageing protection across natural rubber, SBR, BR, NBR, etc., while also synergistically inhibiting metal ion–induced accelerated degradation. When used in combination with amine or phenolic antioxidants, it enhances anti-cracking performance and surface aesthetics, making it ideal for transparent or light-colored rubber products.
