Global Seawater Source Chillers Market 2024 by Manufacturers, Regions, Type and Application, Forecast to 2030
Description
According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global Seawater Source Chillers market size was valued at US$ 5723 million in 2023 and is forecast to a readjusted size of USD 9287 million by 2030 with a CAGR of 7.1% during review period.
Seawater source chillers are refrigeration equipment specially designed to use seawater as a cooling medium. They are widely used in large buildings, industrial facilities and marine engineering in coastal areas. The core components of this chiller include a compressor, a condenser, an evaporator and an expansion valve. During operation, the refrigerant is compressed into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas by the compressor, enters the condenser for heat exchange with seawater, and becomes liquid after releasing heat. Subsequently, the refrigerant is decompressed and cooled by the expansion valve, and absorbs heat from the load side (such as the air conditioning system or process flow) in the evaporator to complete the refrigeration cycle.
