Metal ions such as Zn²⁺ and Mn²⁺ can increase the enzyme activity to varying degrees. The optimal pH of CPB is 8.0. Acidic or alkaline conditions will cause a decrease in activity. When the pH is close to 5.0, the activity is close to zero, and when the pH>12.0, the activity is completely lost. Within a certain temperature range (<60°C), the activity of CPB increases with increasing temperature.
