The PPMA molecule contains both phosphonic acid groups and carboxylic acid groups, so it has the chelation and corrosion inhibition of organic phosphine, and also has the dispersing properties of polymers, which has a good corrosion inhibition effect on brass. PPMA is a new type of low-phosphorus cathodic corrosion inhibitor with a dual synergistic effect, and has a good dispersing effect on scale salts such as CaCO3, Ca3(PO4)2, and MgSiO3.
