Its core principle is based on the chemiluminescence detection technology. It converts nitrogen dioxide (NO2) into nitric oxide (NO) by heating the conversion chamber, and then uses NO to react with ozone (O3) to produce chemiluminescence. The concentration of NO is determined by measuring the luminescence intensity, and then the concentration of NOx is calculated.
