Description

According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global Electric Transmission Oil Pumps market size was valued at US$ 802 million in 2025 and is forecast to a readjusted size of US$ 1685 million by 2032 with a CAGR of 11.3% during review period.

In 2024, global electric transmission oil pump production reached 18926.3 K units, with an average selling price of US$35.6 per unit, a production capacity of approximately 25545 K units, and a gross profit margin of 18.6%.

An electric transmission oil pump is an oil pump driven by an electric motor, it consists of three subsystems: a pump, a motor, and an electronic control system. Initially used in stop-start vehicles to maintain oil pressure and lubricate automatic transmissions/continuously variable transmissions (CVTs) when the engine is stopped. With the development of new energy vehicles, electronic oil pumps are increasingly being used to cool the drive motor.

Upstream industries primarily include raw material industries such as pig iron, steel, and electric motors. These upstream industries are relatively fragmented, highly market-oriented, and have ample supply. The automotive parts industry is not dependent on these upstream industries. However, if significant changes in the market supply and demand of key raw materials or supplier sales strategies occur in the future, resulting in significant fluctuations in procurement prices, this could have a significant adverse impact on the industry's raw material supply or product costs, posing the risk of declining profitability.

This industry has a perfectly positive correlation with the production and sales scale of downstream industries. If the automotive industry continues to decline and incentives for the new energy vehicle industry continue to tighten, this could lead to adverse consequences such as poor production and operating conditions and deteriorating financial conditions for downstream customers. This could in turn lead to a decline in downstream customer demand for products, adversely impacting the industry's operating performance.

Currently, a new round of global scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation is booming. The integration of automotive technologies with energy, transportation, information and communications is accelerating, with electrification, connectivity, and intelligence becoming the driving trends and trends in the automotive industry. New energy vehicles integrate transformative technologies such as new energy, new materials, the internet, big data, and artificial intelligence, driving the transformation of automobiles from simple means of transportation into mobile smart terminals, energy storage units, and digital spaces. These efforts are driving the transformation and upgrading of energy, transportation, and information and communications infrastructure, optimizing energy consumption structures, and enhancing the intelligence of transportation systems and urban operations. The global market is vigorously promoting the development of energy-saving vehicles, new energy vehicles, and intelligent connected vehicles, accelerating breakthroughs in core automotive component technologies and boosting the development of the automotive component industry. In recent years, major global automotive nations have strengthened strategic planning and policy support, while multinational automakers have increased R&D investment and refined their industrial layout. New energy vehicles have become a key driver of the global automotive industry's transformation and development, and a crucial engine driving sustained global economic growth.

The increasing power density of electric vehicle traction motors generates significant heat, posing new challenges for motor heat dissipation. While water cooling technology currently meets these requirements, it suffers from significant technical drawbacks. The coolant resides in the housing's channels, not in direct contact with the motor. Heat generated within the motor is transferred through layers of material to the coolant in the housing's channels, where it is then dissipated. This constitutes indirect cooling. Because the motor lacks direct access to the coolant, heat can easily accumulate, creating localized hot spots. Furthermore, the layout of the cooling channels requires a larger motor housing. Oil, however, is non-conductive and non-magnetic, so it has no effect on the motor's magnetic circuit. Therefore, it can serve as a direct cooling medium for the motor. During operation, heat generated by the motor is transferred to the motor base via the oil, achieving cooling. Oil-cooled motors employ direct cooling, significantly reducing the motor housing size and enabling more compact designs.
