The automobile intake manifold pressure sensor (Intake Manifold Pressure Sensor) is a sensor used to measure the engine intake manifold pressure. It is usually installed on the intake manifold of the engine to monitor the pressure changes in the intake manifold and convert these pressure signals into electrical signals for use by the engine control unit (ECU). The main function of the automobile intake manifold pressure sensor is to provide the engine control unit with real-time data about the intake system, so as to adjust parameters such as fuel injection quantity, ignition timing and valve timing, so as to achieve the best combustion efficiency and power output. The operating principle of the intake manifold pressure sensor is usually based on the piezoresistive or piezoelectric effect. The piezoresistive sensor changes the resistance value inside the sensor by measuring the pressure change in the intake manifold, thereby outputting a corresponding voltage signal. Piezoelectric sensors use the piezoelectric effect of piezoelectric elements to convert pressure changes in the intake manifold into voltage signal output.
