Global Alcohol-to-Jet Fuel Market 2025 by Manufacturers, Regions, Type and Application, Forecast to 2031
Description
According to our (Global Info Research) latest study, the global Alcohol-to-Jet Fuel market size was valued at US$ million in 2024 and is forecast to a readjusted size of USD million by 2031 with a CAGR of %during review period.
Methanol jet fuel (ATJ) is a methanol-based sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). ASTM first certified ATJ-SPK bioblends up to 50%v/v in 2016. The AtJ approach is being expanded through the addition of Alcohol to Jet Synthetic Kerosene with Aromatics (ATJ-SKA) which is similar to ATJ-SPK but contains a higher amount of aromatic compounds, which ensure the swelling of seals in current jet engines. ATJ fuels are considered a promising alternative to conventional crude oil jet fuel because they have the potential to significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions and reduce Aviation’s overall carbon footprint. These fuels are compatible with existing aircraft and infrastructure, making them a viable option to help the aviation industry reduce its environmental impact
