The country has numerous onshore wind energy farms, with an overall capacity of 443 MW. The Burgos Wind Farm, with a capacity of 150 MW, is the largest wind energy farm in the Philippines. Other major wind energy farms in the country include the San Lorenzo Wind Farm (54 MW), Caparispisan Wind Farm (81 MW), and the Pililla Wind Farm (54 MW), among others. The Philippines’ government aims to increase the share of renewable energy in its energy mix to 15.3 GW by 2030. The National Energy Program aims to increase the wind power generation capacity by 2345 MW before 2028. This is expected to drive market growth in the forecast period.
